Lo-fi reflections on the Covid-era musical energy (or lackthereof) of a once-bustling downtown Honolulu.

From the artist:
"The album consists of a series of songs composed in the spirit of Lo-fi, a style of music which seemed to arise as a natural consequence of the recent global sequestration. The albumʻs cover illustrates this. Itʻs a picture of Honoluluʻs notorious Hotel Street, which heretofore had bustled daily since World War II with all kinds of people seeking entertainment. Now the sordid neon was shining only on Covid-induced desolation and silence. The diminished energy of the songs in Lull reflects this temporary loss of Hotel Streetʻs variously extroverted music, with confidence that on some post-Covid day soon it will revert to its happy raucous self."
